Verify your benefit amounts
All COVID-19 benefits received from the CRA will be on one T4A slip. Each COVID-19 benefit will have its own box number on the tax slip.
If you received more than one benefit from the CRA or made repayments, verify your benefit amounts are correct before you report them on your tax return.

You can confirm the COVID-19 benefit amounts you received by viewing the "COVID-19 Support” chart in CRA My Account. This chart will not display any repayments you made.
If you repaid a benefit amount
Your 2024 T4A slip should reflect your COVID-19 benefit repayments you made between January 1 and December 31, 2024.
If you repaid amounts in the same year that you received the benefit, your repayments are subtracted from your total amount received on your T4A slip.

Find your repayments on your T4A slip
If you received a COVID-19 benefit from CRA, any repayments you made will display in box 201 on your T4A slip.

If you don’t have box 201 on your 2024 T4A slip:
- Check if your repayments were subtracted from your total amount of benefits received
- Your repayment was reflected on a previous T4A slip if you repaid benefit amounts in a previous year
- Your repayment will be shown in box 201 on your 2025 T4A slip if you repaid benefit amounts in 2025
If any amounts are incorrect, they can be corrected by calling the CRA. Follow the instructions under Resolve issues with your T4A slip.
