Interim Statistics - Universe Data

The data are from personal tax returns filed two years earlier. For example, the 2010 edition analyzes returns from the 2008 tax year, which had to be filed by the end of April 2009.

The universe data are available sooner than the sample data, so we are able to release the Interim Statistics - Universe Data report before the Final Statistics - Sample Data report. However, since the universe data lack some of the detail provided by the sample data, Interim Statistics - Universe Data contains preliminary versions of Tables 1 to 5A only. Final Statistics - Sample Data contains Tables 1 to 12.
