This business plan marks a new beginning for our organization. Formerly Revenue Canada, we are now the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency. Our mission remains to promote compliance with Canada's tax, trade, and customs legislation. We do so by collecting revenues and administering tax laws, providing border services and administering legislation governing international trade and travel, and delivering social and economic benefit programs to Canadians. However, the move to agency status is the most significant and dramatic change in our organization's history.
