Browser requirements
To ensure that you have uninterrupted access to the My Payment service, your browser must:
- support TLS (TLS 1.2 recommended);
- have Cookies enabled; and
- have JavaScript enabled.
If your browser does not meet these requirements, you may need to enable Cookies and/or JavaScript or enable TLS (1.0, 1.1, and 1.2). If your system configuration and settings are not compatible and you choose not to upgrade or change them, you may be unable to access the My Payment service until you upgrade your browser. The CRA recommends upgrading to a browser that supports TLS 1.2.
Recommended browsers
The following browsers meet these requirements and can be used to access the My Payment service:
- Internet Explorer 7.0, 8.0, 9.0, 10, and 11
- Firefox 15.0.0, 16.0.0, 16.0.1, 16.0.2, 17.0.0, and 17.0.1
- Safari 4.0.5, 5.0.5, 5.1.2, 5.1.7, 6.0.1, and 6.0.3
- Chrome 23.0.0, 29.0.0, and 30.0.0
Note
You may access the My Payment service using other web browsers and recently released versions of supported browsers; however, they may not have been fully tested with the My Payment service. If you encounter difficulties while using these browsers, it is recommended that you try again using one of the supported browsers listed above or an earlier version of a supported browser.
Cookies and JavaScript
You should also check that your cookies and JavaScript are enabled in your browser settings. All browsers are configured a little differently, so you should check the Internet options of your browser for ways to enable the cookie and JavaScript functionality.
