ED 200-5 - Guidelines for Excise Duty Licensing and Bonding Alterations to Premises After Original Application

Ottawa, December 1, 1975

A licensee will give notice of any alterations, or modifications, to his premises or equipment.

COMPLIANCE

1. Before making any material changes in his licenses premises a licensee will notify the Regional Director of Excise in writing of the proposed alterations at least one week in advance.

2. Supplementary replacing plans, specifications and form E146, in triplicate, are to be submitted to the Regional Director of Excise when the changes are completed.

Regional Directors are requested to insure that a copy of this Circular is forwarded by registered mail to all Excise Licensees concerned who are located in their regions.

THIS CIRCULAR IS ISSUED UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF THE ASSISTANT DEPUTY MINISTER OF NATIONAL REVENUE, EXCISE, AS INFORMATION RELATING TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE EXCISE ACT AND REGULATIONS.
