• select “Download results” at the bottom of the Basic search results page
• save the file to a location of your choice or open it to see and access the contents of the .zip file

What format do the files come in?

The search results you downloaded are in a .zip file. The downloaded .zip file contains these three text (.txt) files:

• Charities_results_yyyy-mm-dd-hh-mm-ss.txt
  • shows the date and time the file was downloaded

  • contains the list of search results

• readme.txt
  • shows the content of each field in the charities results .txt file
• criteria.txt
  • shows the criteria you used in the search
