1. Finding the best way to resolve your tax issues
Sometimes you might disagree with your tax assessment from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). It may be because you think it’s wrong, you noticed information is missing, or you were assessed by the CRA because you didn’t respond to a notice to complete a tax return.
Choosing the right course of action helps to ensure your issue gets resolved quicker, saving you time and money. Not sure where to start? These guidelines can help you find the best solution for your situation.
2. Improving services for businesses
Employers have many obligations, including remitting payroll deductions, corporate income taxes, and goods and services tax/harmonized sales tax (GST/HST). The CRA knows how much time and effort it takes to stay on top of it all. That’s why we’re constantly improving our services to make it easier for businesses to manage their payroll obligations.
To see all the ways the CRA is improving services for small businesses, check out our new video, which demonstrates how small businesses can stay up-to-date with their payroll obligations.
3. Get free tax help for your small business
Get free in-person support and guidance to help you understand and meet your tax obligations. The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is now accepting requests for free in-person visits or seminars from unincorporated small businesses across Canada.
4. Claim your Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax incentives
Are you a small or medium business conducting research and development in Canada? You may be eligible to claim the tax incentives provided under the Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) Program. Learn how to claim the credit, determine your eligibility, or find out how our services can help you.
