See how fast you get your refund!
File your tax return over the Internet using NETFILE-certified software. You can get your NETFILE access code at www.netfile.gc.ca/netfilecode or through My Account at www.cra.gc.ca/myaccount. If you use the services of a tax preparer, ask them to file your tax return over the Internet using EFILE-certified software. For more information, go to www.cra.gc.ca/efile-individuals. If your tax return contains the most common tax information, TELEFILE may be for you. If you don't have a TELEFILE access code, call 1-800-714-7257 to get one, then call 1-800-959-1110 to file your return. For more information, go to www.cra-arc.gc.ca/telefile.
Direct deposit and online payments
Expecting a refund or making a payment? Try direct deposit or online payment options. You can have your benefit payments and refunds deposited directly into your account at a financial institution in Canada. For more information, go to www.cra.gc.ca/dd-ind. You may be able to make payments online using My Payment or to pay through your financial institution's telephone or Internet banking services. Save time, pay online! Go to www.cra.gc.ca/electronicpayments .
My Account
Use My Account to check the status of your refund, view your return, apply for child benefits, arrange direct deposit, verify your RRSP deduction limit or your GST/HST credit, and much more. To use My Account, you have to create a user ID and password, and the CRA will mail you a security code. Go to www.cra.gc.ca/myaccount.
My Business Account
Access your business tax information online. View your account balances and transactions, transfer payments, get additional remittance vouchers, calculate a future balance, authorize your employees and representatives, file returns, make online requests for financial transactions, and more. Go to www.cra.gc.ca/mybusinessaccount.
Quick Access
Want access to some of your information right away? Quick Access will give you immediate, secure access to some of your information in My Account, provided you correctly identify yourself. With Quick Access, you can view the status of your tax return, your RRSP deduction limit, and the status of your benefit payments. For more information, go to www.cra.gc.ca/quickaccess
Represent a Client
Use Represent a Client to access information on behalf of individuals and businesses, including your employer. To use Represent a Client, you have to register as a representative. Once registered, individuals and businesses can authorize you to access information and services online. Go to www.cra.gc.ca/representatives.
