Film Services Units

Our services

The Film Services Units administer or provide access to all programs dealing with film production that are under the responsibility of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

This includes dealing with tax matters related to the federal tax credit program for Canadian productions, and the federal tax credit program for production services rendered in Canada for Canadian or foreign productions.

The Film Services Units serve as a gateway to other services specific to the film industry, such as non-resident actors and behind-the-scenes personnel who provide services in Canada, customs, and the GST/HST .
