You know the date you will have employees again

Follow these steps:

At the prompt "If you will have no employees subject to deductions until a specific date," press "2."

If you want to report that you have no employees with source deductions, and you know when you will have employees again, use this option. This can happen in the case of a temporary scheduled closure or if you are a seasonal employer who starts up again on a specific date.

In this option we ask you to enter the date when you will have employees with deductions again. You can enter the actual or expected date.

Example

If you expect to have employees start working at the beginning of April 2016, you would enter the date "2016-04-01." In this case, if you are a monthly remitter, we will expect a remittance payment or response for the month of April by May 16, 2016 since the remittance-due date of May 15, 2016 is a Sunday.
