Did you know…

That you have until midnight April 30, 2007, to file your 2006 income tax return electronically or on paper? Don't forget that individuals who have a balance owing and don't file by the due date will have to pay a late filing penalty.

If you or your spouse or common-law partner is self-employed in 2006, you have until midnight on June 15, 2007, to file your 2006 return. You still have to pay your amounts owing by April 30, 2007.

For more information on filing deadlines, please visit www.cra.gc.ca/tax/individuals/menu-e.html and select "F" for "filing your return/due dates" from the drop-down box menu.
