Voluntary Disclosures Program - After you apply

  1. Overview
  2. Eligibility
  3. How to apply to correct your taxes
  4. After you apply

What can you expect after you apply?

After you send your application to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), we will check to make sure it is complete.

If it is complete:

  • we will review your application and send you a letter with our decision
  • we will then process your application and issue you a notice of assessment or a notice of reassessment.

If your application is not complete, we will send you a letter with a request for more information. The letter will include a reference number and a telephone number that you can call.

What can you do if you disagree with the decision?

If the CRA does not grant you relief, you may request a second review of your application. Submit a request to the assistant director of the Shawinigan-Sud National Verification and Collections Centre.
