Change Objective 1: To transform our core business in a manner that keeps pace with changes in technology, business and management practices, and the expectations of Canadians.

Transformation of our core business operations is at the heart of this plan. This objective recognizes that first and foremost, our job is to provide the best possible service to Canadians. In so doing, the CCRA must keep up with the pace of change affecting the businesses and citizens we serve. Our services and procedures must minimize the compliance burden, particularly the complexity of reporting requirements, while at the same time ensure that people continue to meet their obligations.
