All the information you need to calculate your Prince Edward Island tax and credits is included in the Completing your Prince Edward Island form. Attach a completed copy of Form PE428, Prince Edward Island Tax and Credits, to your return.
What's new for 2008?
The basic personal amount, the age amount and the spouse or common-law partner amount have increased.
The income levels used to calculate your provincial tax and surtax have increased. This reduces the amount of Prince Edward Island tax that you pay.
Form PE428, Prince Edward Island Tax and Credits, reflects these changes.
