Policy statement
Organizations established to generate policy-oriented research, ideas, analysis, formulations and recommendations on domestic and international issues (for example, commissioning and publishing research and policy analysis in economics, political science, public administration and international affairs) can qualify for registration as a charity under the following category of charitable purposes: advancement of education. The research produced must be free of bias and must be made available to the public (for example, through publications or on the Internet).
