Children's special allowances (CSA) - Calculation sheet 1993-2006

The monthly amount payable for each child is equal to:

  • The maximum basic amount of the Child Tax Benefit (CTB), plus
  • The National Child Benefit Supplement (NCBS) amount for one dependant (for applicable years).

The CSA may also include a supplement amount for the Child Disability Benefit (CDB)
