Help with Mail
Mail is a tool within My Trust Account that lets you review certain correspondence items from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
The information here will help you understand what you can do in Mail.
If you need more information or help with Mail, contact the CRA.
Access services
The “Access services” button directs you to services within the My Trust Account portal. When you select this button, a drop‑down menu will appear with this option:
Filter correspondence items
Rather than searching through the entire list of available correspondence items, you can refine the list by using the filter options.
Correspondence type
You can only see certain correspondence items the CRA sends you in Mail. You can choose one of the following options from the drop-down list:
- Letters
- Notices

Date range
The date range filter lets you view correspondence items the CRA sent you within a specific time period. Eligible correspondence items sent to you since February 15, 2023, will be available for viewing up to 10 years.
Filing period-end
Not all items will have a filing period-end date. When there is one, it will help you identify the item.
Note
To remove a filter, use the “X” button next to the name of the filter, or use the “Clear filters” button to clear all filters at once.
