Portability refers to whether or not results you achieve using an assessment option can be used for staffing processes other than the process for which the assessment was completed.

The retest period is the time you have to wait before you can be assessed again. If you are assessed again within the retest period, your new result will not be valid and the your retest period will start on the date of your most recent assessment.

The validity period is the time period that your results remain valid and can be used for staffing processes, without having to complete the test again.
