This is in reply to your letter of February 28, 1990, in which you forwarded a copy of XXX remission request and your report for consideration by the Remission' Committee.
The Remission Committee has reviewed XXX case and determined that remission cannot be recommended. A copy of the minutes of the meeting where this case was considered are enclosed for your information.
In view of the Committee's decision, will you please:
- 1) notify XXX in writing that his remission request has been denied; and
- 2) provide us with a copy of your letter to XXX
We are returning XXX 1986 and 1987 income tax returns for your disposition.
