24th CIAT General Assembly Preparation of Canadian Papers
The 1990 General Assembly will be held in Oaxaca, Mexico, on May 21-25. We have been asked to participate by presenting two papers. One of these papers is topic 2.3 on the agenda entitled:
"Progress achieved in compliance with the administration of tax laws, with respect to taxpayer acceptance of taxes and promotion of voluntary compliance."
We believe that your directorate would be the most appropriate one to prepare a paper on this subject and we attach the background material for you which indicates what is required.
We would ask that you prepare an outline of the paper for the first week in January. Mr. Gravelle would like to review it. Following that, we ask that the paper be available by mid-February for review by Mr. Gravelle. It will be sent to CIAT shortly thereafter.
