24th CIAT General Assembly Preparation of Canadian Papers
The 1990 General Assembly will be held in Oaxaca, Mexico, on May 21-25. We have been asked to participate by presenting two papers. One of these papers is topic 4.
"Factors to be considered for promoting and measuring effectiveness"
We believe that your directorate would be the most appropriate one to prepare a paper on this subject and we attach the background material for you which indicates what is required.
We would ask that you prepare an outline of the paper for the first week in January. Mr. Gravelle would like to review it. Following that, we ask that the paper be available by mid-February for review by Mr. Gravelle. It will be sent to CIAT shortly thereafter.
On November 24 we forwarded a copy of a questionnaire which we would like to receive by the end of this month for transmittal to CIAT. As well could you comment on our memorandum of October 18 which is also related to the General Assembly.
