Re: Advance Income Tax Ruling 24(1)
In November 1989 we advised you that we would be unable to provide the rulings requested in your July 19 and November 3, 1989 letter in respect of the transactions as proposed. Since that time we have not received your advice as to whether your client wishes to withdraw the ruling application or to revise the proposed transactions. As we have not received confirmation of your client's intentions in this matter, we will be forwarding to you a statement of account to cover the time spent on your request to date.
Should you wish to have us consider a revised proposal, we would be pleased to re-open your file upon receipt of a revised ruling application.
