JUGEMENT L’appel interjeté contre l’arrêt de la Cour d’appel du Québec (Montréal), numéro 500-10-007683-210, 2024 QCCA 488, daté du 23 avril 2024, a été entendu le 20 février 2025 et la Cour a prononcé oralement le même jour le jugement suivant : Le juge en chef — Une majorité des juges de la Cour est d’avis de rejeter l’appel, essentiellement pour les motifs de la majorité de la Cour d’appel du Québec. Le juge Jamal, pour sa part, aurait accueilli l’appel, essentiellement pour les motifs du juge dissident. |

JUDGMENT The appeal from the judgment of the Court of Appeal of Quebec (Montréal), Number 500-10-007683-210, 2024 QCCA 488, dated April 23, 2024, was heard on February 20, 2025, and the Court on that day delivered the following judgment orally: [translation] The Chief Justice — A majority of the Court would dismiss the appeal, substantially for the reasons of the majority of the Quebec Court of Appeal. Justice Jamal, for his part, would have allowed the appeal, substantially for the reasons of the dissenting judge. |
