| JUDGMENT The appeal from the judgment of the Court of Appeal of Alberta (Calgary), Number 2001-0198A, 2022 ABCA 16, dated January 19, 2022, was heard on February 14, 2023, and the Court on that day delivered the following judgment orally: Côté J. — A majority of the Court is of the view to allow the appeal. Justices Côté and O’Bonsawin would dismiss the appeal. Brief reasons to follow shortly. Therefore, the appeal is allowed, the convictions are set aside, and verdicts of acquittal are substituted. |
