REASONS FOR JUDGMENT
DUBÉ J :
[1] This is an appeal by the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration from a decision of the citizenship court judge dated August 29, 1997.
[2] The citizenship judge approved the respondent's application despite a shortage of 852 days in the three years residency requirement under paragraph 5(1)(c) of the Citizenship Act.
[3] For the reasons outlined in the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration and Yui Ching Fung, T-2221-97, the appeal is dismissed.
